EltaMD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 Sunscreen

Provides sun protection and lightly tints your complexion to enhance the skin’s radiance. Lightweight and fragrance-free, this mineral sunscreen won’t clog pores and is gentle on sensitive skin conditions. Apply under makeup as a base for added protection to the skin. You can wear this alone, almost as foundation. This product is also fantastic at helping to prevent hyperpigmentation as well as melasma.

Our Recommendation

We recommend using at least SPF 30 daily. Our SPF 18 Foundation is wonderful, but we recommend adding EltaMD SPF 40 for an added layer of protection. This contains moisturizer AND sunscreen, then add the foundation on top.

If you do not need a full coverage foundation, we recommend using one of our tinted options – ELTA MD SPF 40 (tinted moisturizing sunscreen), or ELTA 41 SPF (tinted with matte finish sunscreen).

 

However you decide to protect your skin, the most important aspect is wearing at least SPF 30 on your face daily to maintain a healthy youthful glow!
